Sound Healing Meditations

Meditation is the practice of quieting the chatter that goes on in your mind. By finding stillness of your mind, you can achieve inner peace and gain deep insights into your Self.

When meditation is paired with sound healing, practicers often find that a meditative state is easier to achieve as their brains can concentrate more on the sounds and less on their thoughts.

Additionally, the resonance of a sound healing can help shift the brain into a relaxed, dreamlike state and the nervous system into “rest and digest” mode. Practicers may also notice stress reduction, release of tension and/or emotion, or a boost of feel-good neurotransmitters, like serotonin and dopamine.

Sound healing can be facilitated with a range of instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, flutes, and more. You’ll be guided into the session with breath work and sensory observation, before turning to concentrate on the sounds of each instrument. Through deep concentration, a peaceful meditative state can be achieved.
